Dr. Michael Shell, D.O., is trained in pain management and carries a Board Certification in Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine. He serves Colorado Clinic's Chief Medical Officer.
Dr. Shell is a graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He held an internship at Tulsa Regional Medical Center, as well as a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency through the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed a fellowship in interventional pain management at the University of Arizona. Dr. Shell has special qualifications in Age Management Medicine from Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation.
Dr. Shell focuses on treating chronic pain from musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, occupational medicine, and addiction pain. He has a personal interest in treating hormonal imbalances to optimize health and restore vitality.
Dr. Shell routinely performs spinal injections under fluoroscopic guidance, joint and muscular injections, Botox® injections for migraine headaches and spasticity, and regenerative medicine procedures.
Dr. Shell currently specializes in treating chronic pain from neurological and musculoskeletal disorders, as well as issues dealing with addiction and occupational medicine.
